ESS WDA CATS gray out after approval

Hi Experts,

Is there a way to gray-out(display only mode) the ESS timesheet for an employee after it has been approved by manager? In CAC1 we have an option named "No changes after approval" but when I select that option, it only grays out the row where the employee had entered time earlier. Rest of the rows are still available for editing.

We do not want to restrict employee's ability to scroll by setting limiting of how far they are allowed to go in CAC1. The employees can view the time entered by them as far back as they wish, they should just not be allowed to change it after approval. That is the reason we would like the time sheet as display only.

~We are in the process of implementing ESS WDA CATS(record working time) on EHP6 and netweaver portal version 7.31.~

no changes after approval means ie any record which is in status 30 in catsdb ie approved status cant be edited and no changes can be made to this entry and hence display mode only

So you can use this for your requirement as you want non edit of approved records??

Thanks for the quick response Siddharth. I agree that using "No changes after approval" will be a good option.

However, I would like to know if there is a way to gray out rest of cells(that do not contain approved hours) in the period that has already been approved.
