Does it have the "&" sign wrapped around it?

    &sfsy-date&

      Krishna,

Is the field defined inupper case as well as between &?

      ie &SFSY-DATE&

Otherwise, click on the "Field List On/Off button"to the left of the "Form Painter" button. Then go to System Fields, select SFSY and drag and drop DATE into your Text Element.

Let me know how this goes.

      Cheers,

      Pat

      Hi Krishna,

I think thats only a warning not an error and if you dont want to see that error, Specify that field in the Initialization tab of the smartform global parameters inout and output parameter.

      Thanks,

      Vamshi.
