the confirmed quantities are getting deleted while running BOP

Hi,

we are using product allocation and sales order has been created with req qty is 150 and allocation is 75, hence sales order gets confirmed for 75 ( this is yesterday scenario) and delivery not at created.

To day allocation is 15 and while running BOP it is deconfirming the yesterday confimed qty and it is confirming only 15 instead of ( 75 yesterday confirmation + 15 today allocation).

Please assist how to avoid confirmed qty or retain the yesterday confirmation while running BOP.

However, we are not using backward or farward allocation check.

Regards,

HAB

Hello HAB,

Are you not using the backward consumption logic ?

From what you've explained above - my inference is following

1) You're using Storage buckets as "Days" instead of weeks or months. Correct ?

2) If yes - on day 1, you have an allocation limit of 75 and the confirmation was given to an extent of 75

3) On day 2, the order was re-scheduled and hence it picked up a different day bucket where the allocation is 15.

If this is the scenario and if you're expecting the previous bucket quantity to be used as well - you should use Backward consumption which is usually set in the configuration of Product allocation group

Advanced Planning and Optimization-> Global Available-to-Promise (Global ATP) -> Product Allocation -> Maintain Product Allocation Group -> Consumption Period.

Also, let us know if the scenario is not understood by me correctly

Thank you

Hi Babu,

Thanks for your swift reply.

Are you not using the backward consumption logic ?

yes we are not using backward and forward logic as per business requirment while creating sales order it should check only current date allocations and also we are using Storage buckets as "Days".

Is there any way to handle this situation.

1) While creating sales order it should check current days allocation.

2) While running BOP it should not touch the confirmed quantity of the sales order (yesterday) and remaining unfullfilled order through current bucket i.e. todays.

Hi Hussain Baig,

Did you get a chance to explore the below option in the third tab "Parameters" of BOP. I hope the below setting should help you achieve what you're looking for ? I have not tested it yet. Please give it a try.

In the current scenario, you must be using check against "Request" if I am not wrong. Please change it to confirmation to consider the unfulfilled requirements.

Thanks & Best Regards,
