Portal ( 7.3) desktop custom rule not appearing

Hi,

I created a customized theme and trying to assign this theme to the users. But it is always taking standard desktop not customized one. Created new rule with the condition

IF users = kkkkk  ->APPLY->SAVE

THEN Portal Desktop = pcd:portal_content/com.XXXX.XXXX_Desktop/XXXX_Desktop

->APPLY->SAVE

Someone can explain how to resolve this issue.

Kundan,

Its me, again ..

Can you please cross check below points.

1. Open your deskop under system admin, the desktop should have your custom theme.

2. Also, Pls check your theme is selected as default in the desktop.

3. Remove other themes except your custom theme from the desktop if there is any.

4. You IF expression should be the first rule in master rule collection.

If still unable to resolve the issue, just add any other standard theme to the desktop and check again.

Hi Kundan,

It looks like the issue is with you Custom master rule collection. You need to either add your Custom MRC to default MRC as an IF expression or add add the IF expression directly in deafult MRC.
