Former Member

Hi All,

I have installed Solution manager 7.1 now i ma trying to run LMDB transaction its not working.

I have tried to run SOLMAN_SETUP basic config but its opening an IE page and its not login .

Protocol cannot be switched to HTPPS; HTTPS is not configured/active
SSO logon not possible; invalid host name for issuing cookie
Choose "Log On" to continue. A dialog box appears in which you can enter your user and password
No switch to HTTPS occurred, so it is not secure to send a password

Hi,

Please check the host name in URL, the error shows it is invalid.

You need to use FQHN to access webdynpros.

You can refer to the following notes:

Note 773830 FQHN determination in ICM

KBA 1817452 - FQDN - underscore in hostname or domain

Thanks.

Hi,

It's not a FQDN. You need domain name.

eg, SOLMAN.yourcompany.com

and you need to ensure the FQDN can be resolved in your landscape by setting DNS server or etc/hosts file.

Thanks.

Hi,

The URL changed automatically... please try this:

http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SMSETUP/How+to+Use+SAP+Solution+Manager+Configuration+(SOLMAN_S...

SAPOSS is required, otherwise, you may get error.

Thanks.

Hi,

Make sure to use the Fully Qualified Domain Name in your system, as required per SAP note 654982.

For SSO troubleshooting you should use SAP note 1257108.
