Bex Web Template using ABAP Web

Hi ,

We have BW-7.3 With ABAP Stack only. We don’t have any portal in our landscape.

We are able to run BEx query with RSRT “ABAP Web” url. But not with JAVA Web option because we don’t have JAVA Stack (BI JAVA) or SAP Portal.

We created the Bex Web Template for BI –IP Input template.

How we can execute BEx Web Template with Abap Web (T.code- RSRT or any other way )? In RSRT it doesn’t give the option to select BEx web Template Name , it just recognize BI query name.

Appreciate if you please let me know how to execute BEx Web Template with ABAP Web.

Regards,

Ravi

    Hi Ravi,

Yes in RSRT you cannot key in the template id, but you can execute the query and check out its behaviour when launched in web. To achieve your requriement, I would suggest you to enter the query technical name in RSRT and then click on ABAP WEB or JAVA WEB buttons from the top:

    Hope this helps,

    Regards,

    Hi ravi,

Did you try to execute from WAD itself? Was it able to take the ABAP Web link(URL)?
