Hi Experts,

I have a query regarding Nakisa Org modeler..

Suppose, Nakisa Org modeler is having some issue, whose fix has been provided in a SCA file...Now my question is that do we need to create new scenario instead of performing writeback for the old one(including scenarios In Progress or Finalized ones).

As an example, we were facing issue in delimiting or rather changing the cost center of Positions..now after the fix was deployed, we performed the writeback of the scenarios which were created before the deployment of fix and what we saw that previous cost center relationship was delimited on the date of scenario write back and the new cost center was assigned with the start date as of scenario effective date...

Please note that for the new scenarios created post deployment the fix are working as expected...

If we need to create new scenarios whenever a fix(SCA file is deployed) then please let me know the reason too..just for my understanding..

Hi Rahul,

Usually you should not need to re-create your scenarios because they are stored independently in the database. However, it ultimately depends on what fixes are in the service patch that you deploy. It could be that something was fixed in it and that causes a conflict with your scenario. In future I would not expect this to cause an issue, but you should ask Nakisa for a full list of fixes and information on whether this will affect your scenarios.
