Crystal report formula for +/- operation.

HI Experts.

Formula in Crystal Report 2008.

I have written a formula for a field as below. Oinv.DpmAmnt is actually +/- figure.

so, i want to use +/- operation like when the Amount is Neg(-) then it should Add in the formula and when it is Positive(+) then it should Minus in the formula.

How to fix this ?

If {OINV.DocCur} = "INR" THEN
{OINV.DocTotal}-{OINV.VatSum}+{OINV.DpmAmnt}

Else
{OINV.DocTotalFC}-{OINV.VatSumFC}+{OINV.DpmAmntFC}

Regards,

Dwarak

    Hi Dwarak,

    When you add a negative number, it is actually subtract. The formula has no need to change. It should be the same.

    Thanks,

    Gordon
