How to get SAP Service Marketplace ID?

I was trying to access the marketplace because of the quick sizer. Tried to register but I got this error:

A user ID cannot be created with the specified data, because no (valid) e-mail domain is registered for your customer number.  Please contact your SAP system administrator and request that he/she maintain your company's e-mail domain. You can then request a user ID again here.

Hello Bryan Villabert

Have a look into this!

How to Get SAP S User ID

SAP S User ID is a unique number that SAP uses for identification of people on its web portals and databases. For example you need S User ID in order to access SAP support portal or register for SAP certification.

How to Get SAP S User ID

First, just to have an idea of what S User ID looks like, here is what you should be expecting: S000000000. Zeros there are replaced with actual numbers. So, how to get SAP S User ID?

  1. Option one is to let your system administrator to do it for you. Thus, you need to know who your company’s super administrator is. Then, you can simply contact him or her to request them to create an S User ID for you.
  2. Option two can be handy if you have no idea who is SAP administrator in your company. In this case you can register for an SAP S user ID by clicking the registration link in the upper right hand of SAP Service Marketplace home page (see screenshot below) or by following this link: http://service.sap.com/request-user. Please note that customer or installation number are required for those who want to register as customer and a partner number is required for those who want to register as an SAP partner.
  3. Option three suits best people that want to register for SAP certification. Duringregistration for SAP certification you will be assigned an SAP S User ID or will have an opportunity to create it. If you register for certification offline (by phone or in SAP center) you should ask SAP personnel about your S User ID.

SAP Marketplace
In case you do not know customer or installation numbers that are required for option two, they can be requested through SAP Customer Interaction Center. In this article we tried to explain how to get SAP S User ID and provided some relevant information. If something is not clear or you would like to know more, please let us know in the comments section!

Hope it helps

Hi Alen,

this drives me really crazy and need your advice.

I have a SAP BI Certification and an S-User ID registred in the Training & Certification Portal. Like S00157xxxxx.

So i tried to log into the marketplace, but with an authorization error. Then i called the SAP service for

help or assign this ID for marketplace login. But they respond to me, to login for marketplace, i have to be a partner or employed by an employer ? Is that true ?

Thank you for help.

Hi Hemant,

I tried to reach SAP for S-User ID’s for certified consultants, below is the reply I got.

Please note that SAP Service Marketplace no longer issues S-User ID’s for certified consultants.

The SAP Service Marketplace

can only be accessed by SAP Customers or SAP Partners.

If you are working for a SAP Customer or SAP Partner, you can request an S-User ID for that specific customer or partner.

Dear All,

If you have SID and not able to login to SAP market place, then drop a mail to service@sap.com and request to reset your password and provide the OSS credentials

Once the password has been reset you can login to SAP marketplace.

Dear All,

Plz find below updated information:

WHO CAN ACCESS SAP SERVICE MARKETPLACE:

The SAP Service Marketplace can only be accessed by SAP Customers and SAP Partners. If you are working for a SAP Customer or SAP Partner, you can request an S-User ID for a specific customer/partner number. The customer number is provided to each company after signing the support agreement with SAP/Partner. Please note that only companies which have a valid maintenance agreement with SAP/Partner will be able to access the portal.

SAP Service Marketplace no longer issues S-User ID’s for certified consultants.

Hi,

If you are an end customer together with a partner then you would need to reach out to your partner to request access. This would allow you to access the SAP Business One Customer Portal.

If you work for a partner then you need to find out who the super-user is and request them to create one for you.

Hope this clarified.
