how to cast a extension field to a user account

Please let me know how to cast an extension field which has user name to an user account field in SAP ESourcing.

Hi Vimal,

As per my understanding, you want to create an extension with name "User Name" which will reflect in User Account.

For this, pls navigate to Setup--> System Setup --> Extension definetion

Then you will get the list of extensions where you need to check for any existing User Account extension or you have a create a new extension definition. Click on NEW and fill the details refering to the below screenshot.

Then click on Add to add new extension which you want.

Hi vignesh,

thanks for the information, but my question is i have created a text field in the project. so when the user enters the user name, the user name value should be added to the collaborator table, if the user is available in the system.

the problem is am not able to cast the text field to a user account object.
