Grey out material field in Engg. Change Request

Dear Experts ,

Need your help in solving following issue .

We are implementing ECM (Engg. Change Management).

We are executing following transactions

1. Create ECR (T Code CC01) with release Key

2. Enter

3. Go to Object Type

Here Material object is in grey mode (in active) hence changes are not allowed for Object Material

Other Objects like BOM,Routing are active.

But if we execute transaction CC01 without Release Key Material as an object is active under Object Tab and desired

changes are able to record

Please suggest at the earliest
