Inventory Price Calculation

Here is an example of an item.

It is set Sales UOM = SF, Items per Sales Unit =1, Packaging UOM= SF, Quantity Per Packaging UOM=1.777

If I put in a Sales Order for that Item and put 100 in Quantity for ordering 100 SF it will give me in the No of Packaging column 57 which is correct.

I need 57x1.777 = 101.289 which covers my 100 SF area.

The price per SF is 23.11

The SO gives me a total of $2311.00 which is 23.11x100

But to cover the 100 SF I need to order 101.289  and the price should change to $23.41 so the extra tile (1.289)  will be not given for free.

Please let me know

Thanks

Hi,

You have 2 options:

1. Change the quantity to 101.289 with inventory UoM.

2. Change unit price to $23.41

Thanks,

Gordon

Yikes, there is no automatic option???

How do you expect price automatically change to $23.41 from $23.11?

What it should be able to do is alert you to cover 100SF you need to order 101.289 and calculate the price off the 101.289.

thanks

Is this a special case or in general? What if the order is 200 sf?
