Hi Pradeep !

Like Paul said above, follow the note to setup parameters of the OSS Connection via OSS1 transaction.

You can find the RFC connection for SAPOSS connection in SM59 and try a connection test.

You can also check the IP address used in the MSG.Server input box in the RFC connection that points to SAP. It might be the wrong one.

As an exemple connection informations should look like this :

Technical Settings Tab :

Target System : OSS

MSG,Server : /H/<YOUR.IP.ADDRE.SS>/S/sapdp99/H/<SAP.IP.ADDRE.SS>/S/sapdp99/H/oss001

Group : EWA

Logon&Security Tab :

Language : EN

Client : 001

User : OSS_RFC

PW Status : <Your saved password for this user>

Make sure that the parameters enter are valid and you will be able to succeed the Connection Test.

If the connection is successful you will have the "following like" results :

Connection Test SAPOSS
Connection Type SAP Connection
Logon5501 msec
Transfer of 0 KB108 msec
Transfer of 10 KB112 msec
Transfer of 20 KB118 msec
Transfer of 30 KB128 msec

Hope this helps you

Hi All ,

Actually issue was with router , and when we restarted the router issue got fixed .

As per our analysis router crashed , so not able to access SAP OSS connection .

Thank you very much .

Thanks,

Pradeep.

The RFC actually used is SAP-OSS. It is a copy of SAPOSS.

Hello,  SAPOSS needs to be maintained correctly according to SAP Note 763561. The best way to maintian SAPOSS correctly is vis transaction OSS1, as described in note 33135.  It is recommended that SAPOSS also use 'Load distribution'; to achieve this use note 766505.  With these resources, you should be able to correct, any incorrect setting, or delete it and recreate it correctly.  Are you having any issue with SDCC_OSS? I ask because it is a copy of SAPOSS. My thoughts is if both are failing, then perhaps it is the physical connection that has the issue. If SDCC_OSS works, then SAPOSS setting should be checked, and corrected or deleted and recreated.  Regards,   Paul
