Hello All,
I have created an Hierarchy node variable on the Info object.
In the BEx Query execution, in the input help screen, i am able to see the values in the Hierarchical format.
But when i execute the same, i am getting the values displayed in the form of List.
Can we see the input help values in the hierarchical format in the BEx Analyser variable selection screen??
Thank you,
HEllo All,
Thank you for the replies.
The hierarchy was active only.
I have made a small change in the IO settings.
In the Multiprovider--> Info object --> (Right click) Provider specific properties-->
--> Query Exec.FilterVal is set to "M Values in the Master data table".
Now, I am able to see the values in input help as a hierarchy.
Regards,
Hema

Hi Hema,
Activate and select the hierarchy in display properties of InfoObject (for both filter & row/column). It will show hierarchy display in both places. Otherwise query result and input screen show flat list. Refer below screenshot for enabling hieararchy in row similarly do it in filter section.
Hope it helps.
Thanks,
Umashankar

Hi Hema,
Did you enable hierarchy in the characteristic properties of the query.

HI hema,
Hope you know How the data is maintained at Hierarchy infoobject in BW.
In Bex variable screen-->Drop down or F4, only Parent node values will appear in the list. When you execute the same, your data for the parent will appear in the report. There will be small button next to parent node value to expand the hierarchy like below screen shot.
