error while activation of Standard DSO

Hello ,

I cannot activate a standard DSO because of probably
wrong BW setup.

step 1 :

given simple Standard DSO consisting of a key, character , keyfigure and all info
objects checked for active status

step 2 :

"activate" DSO

  error message 1 : source system is not active for this BI
  error message 2  : error when creating export data source

step 3 :

did  "check" at "source systems" at my particular "self source system"
     error message 1 : source system is inactive
     error messae 2   :  entry in outbound table not found

step 4 :SM59 , RFC connection between R3 and BW is ok.

step 5 : Replication of metadata R3 / BW finished successfully

step 4 : did "replication / activation" at "source systems" at
             my particular source system

system aborted after while with error message ...

Hi Oskar,

Go to RSA1 tcode -> select  source systems in left pane -> select the system. right click on system and chose option check. if the connection fails, go to table RSBASIDOC and you will find that the source system is in inactive status (field OBJSTAT = INA). please use the below note or do restore / activate  in rsa1.
