tp parameters - change log

Hello ,

Is it possible to find the change log information for individual tp parameters of a system ?

Is it possible to find this through :

1) analyzing the logs of the table where tp parameters get stored

2 ) Or using system logs - sm21 ?

Or both of these shall not help - and there is some other way to achieve this ?

Any help would be highly appreciated .

Hello Krithika,

I am not sure whether you can find change logs for individual values but when you modify the tp profile file it gets backed up as .bak file.

TP_DOMAIN_DI2.PFL

TP_DOMAIN_DI2.BAK

you can probably compare these files and find the difference.

Helpful information .

But these files show the content of the current tp profile -TP_DOMAIN_DI2.PFL

and the previous version of the tp profile in - TP_DOMAIN_DI2.BAK . Right ?

Also ,if possible , can  you provide some information on which system tables store these tp parameters ?

As you can see in the screenshot above the parameters are not stored on a table but in a profile.

profle is stored under /usr/sap/trans/bin
