Error scheduling Reports to email

I need to schedule a report to be delivered to an email address. I just configured the job server with the options below

The problem is when I schedule, i get an error. It does not matter if it is a Webi o Crystal. What must be configure to send for example a PDF from a webi or crystal to an email address ?

I

Is there anything else that must be configured ? Is iti possible to configure it to a gmail account ?

    You will need to validate the SMTP setting on Server as mentioned by @Hari Krish.

    Follow this link to get the commands to send an email from Command Line using Telnet.

    About whether you can send it to Gmail or no, it is something that is based on the mail server configuration. There are configurations on mail server that does not allow sending email outside Domain. So, you will need to use Telnet command once again to send email outside domain from BO server e.g. Gmail to test. If it does not work then your mail server does not permit so.

      About whether you can send the email to Gmail or no, you may ask whether anonymous or service account has authorization to send email to Outside Domain.

      And about validating SMTP setting on BO Server, it is something that you need to perform on the BO server using credential with which SIA is running.

    Hi,

    According to the attached screen shut, your Webi job is to email output to pablos@uni.local. I am not sure if it is a valid email address. You might want to reschedule this job with a proper email address to send to.

    Check the domain name and host. Try telnet on the BO server, make sure SMTP works.
