Failed to export the report - Not Support

Former Member

I have created report where I embedded dashboard in it. But when I try to export it into PDF format, it is giving me "Failed to export the report and Not supported " warnings. When I view the report through BO launch pad it is showing  "The viewer could not process an event. Crystal Reports: Print Engine Error [] ---- Error code:0 [CRWEB00000119]"

But when i view it through crystal report viewer 2008, i can able to export it to PDF.

Can somebody help me on this.

I am using crystal report 2011 and

Dashboard Design Version 6.0.0.0

Build: 14.0.2.364.

Data source in crystal report is SAP table.

Hi Abhilash,

Thanks for your reply.. I tried.. But no good news.

I am not writing any code in any part of my report for using replace function.

My steps are:

1. Organize the data in crystal

2. Insert the swf file

3. feeding data to the swf file with flash data expert.

4.Refresh

Try suppressing each section one by one whilst trying to export the report. This way you can find out which section is causing the trouble.

I suppressed all the sections, except report footer where i inserted swf file. So in my report only one page is there which displaying my dashboard.

Report Overview:

four row field and seven data field.

Developed dashboard to show the receivables where user can filter by branch/BU/Group/Sub Group.

then embedded in crystal to get live data from SAP table. All are working fine in the CR designer, as the dashboard is retrieving data from tables. But no export and am not able to view in BI launch pad(SAP BO). If 64k error occurs, dashboard will not display any data, will give me "A string can be at most 65534 characters long" warning.

Below is sample data.

Hi Abhilash,

Where can I find the code which explains the way the data feeds from CR to swf file?

Suneer

What do you mean by code?

You feed data to the swf file using flash variables or just use the Flash Data Expert.
