Bypass role authorizations in query

Former Member

Hi,

as in the object I have a query where infotype PA2001 is retrieved, but the query users have roles that don't permit to see some subtypes of IT 2001.

It's possible only for selected queries to bypass this role checks for that users?

Thanks in advance for answers.

Hi Lorenzo,

I never tried that, but, you could create transaction for each queries, go to the SU24 transaction and inactivate the control you doesn't want.

Fred

I will try and I let you know.

Thanks!

Edit: I've tried your solution but doesn't work, so authorizations roles have priority I think.

Hi,

Role based access would not allow you to access the data. You have to get the access or may be design a generic user to get the data access.

Cheers,
