Hi everyone,

In the basic configuration of SOLMAN_SETUP on Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 SP Stack 30, I encounter the following error :

- Component ST-A/PI: release 01Q_700 is incorrect, expected 01P_700: see note 1274287

- Component ST-A/PI: release 01Q_700 is incorrect, expected 01[N-Z]_700SOL: see note 1274287

However, the report RTCCTOOL recommends to implement ST-A/PI 01Q_700 :

How to fix this issue ?

Hi Nicolas,

As per my previous reply aside from update  the tools.

Did you verify the contents of note 1274287 as applicable to your solution manager and satellite system?

i.e. what version of solution manager and EHp* or sps level are you running?

The system is running on Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 SP30. The note 1274287 mentions that only ST-A/PI 01P_700 is supported... So, why RTCCTOOL (see my first post) recommends to implement ST-A/PI 01Q_700 ?

Hi Johan,

I'm facing the same problem like Nicolas.

The problem is that the version 01Q_700 is higher than 01P_700.

We are already on 01Q_700 - and a downgrade to 01P_700 is technical impossible.

Fact is: RTCCTOOL recommend 01Q_700. But if you implement this version you're broke.

The product version no works anymore, because the product from SAP for SAP Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1  includes the component ST-A/PI only to 01P_700.

It results in a incompatible product instance.

Solution Manager ABAP Stack can't set to "relevant", because the stack includes a incompatible version of component ST-A/PI.

I tried to fix it in SMSY and LVSM, no success.

We are on Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 SPS 30 (uptodate).

Any suggestions ?

Hi,

RTCCTOOL will always advise to the latest which is usually correct.

But if your requirements due to your solman system is 1 level less stick to this.

appreciate your help. But Nicolas and me as well, are already on ST-A/PI 01Q_700.

We can't stick on 1 level less. A downgrad is technical not possible.

If you still have this issue, please implement the note 1710170. That worked for me.

But note 1710170 is already implemented and didn't worked for me.

I closed this task for me because we have planned to upgrade the solution manager.

We are on Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1.

Please download from service.sap.com/SWDC-> Support Packages and Patches -> Browse our download catalog -> Plugins -> SAP Solutions tools -> ST-A/PI

Select your version required as per report.

Support Packages and Patches

Download and extract on OS level using SAPCAR -xvf then in SPAM/SAINT upload from application server and import.

Please note for this you will most likely need a developer to reset SPAU afterwards.

Thank you for your answer.

I forgot to mention that ST-A/PI 01Q_700 is already implemented in the system. The errors (see first post) report that this version is incorrect (it must be 01P_700 or 01[N-Z]_700SOL).

Then update to 01P_700 but due this being a new version you will have to locate it here:

Note: As of 16^th May 2013 a support package SP01 for version 01Q* of addon ST-A/PI has become available. The 01Q* SP00 level will still be valid for service preparation until 25^th July 2013

• Installations and Upgrades:
  Quick link /installations -> Download -> Installations and Upgrades -> Entry by Application Group -> Plug-Ins -> SAP Solution Tools -> ST-A/PI

Then update as usual

It is also possible to include both addon and supportpackage SP01 into one SAINT Queue. Follow the link below to the Add-On installation packages
