BO4 - Error when try fold break max character output size limit reached

User reporting following issue when they try and fold a break

Hi,

Increased this parameter on all webi processing serevrs whithin the cluster form 5mb to 10 mb and restarted the servers.

The error still persists.

Checked size of report on disk - approx 5mb so 10mb should eb more than enough.

Any ideas whys still same message?

Have a css note raised as issue folding breaks when have large report in trems of rows in webi.

Increasing value cleraed this error but now anothe error (java stack overflow error) despite suffciient memory in java client heap szie) - same report with smaller amount of rows fine (e.g 250,0000 rows fine when fold but 750,000 rows fold getting the error.

Just to advise sap have raised an ADAPAT for this - folding of  reports with lareg amount of rows.

Max character size limit can be increased in Webi processing server properties, but you should look at your report design to see why report is so big and if you need to re-design it to be more lean.

Is there a recommended maximum upper size.

We have some users with very large reports

Hi Philip

The recommended max size is the default one. If you need a higher one you should run some tests and verify what is the maximum threshold before getting performance problems.

Unfortunately users have some large reports which for business reasons need to be large as lots of data and formatting.
