    Nice question 😊

OK if I can unwrap it a little, you cannot use all the tech words you have mentioned together in one App. But various combinations of them you can use.

    Here are some opttions:

    1. You can use SAPUI5 with Phonegap and the oData SDK to create an App and communicate directly to an oData backend. However this does not use SUP, Afaria can be used to deploy the App. Push notifications are tricky to setup but possible to configure.

    2. You can use SAPUI5 with Phonegap and Rest API to create an App and communicate with OData backend via SUP 2.2 or SMP 2.3. However SUP will not deploy this App, Afaria can be used to deploy the App. Push notifications are possible to configure.

    3. You can use SAPUI5 with HWC Hybrid web container and use SUP MBO (Mobile business objects) to communicate with the OData backend using SUP 2.1/2.2 or SMP 2.3. No App is created as the HWC is used and SUP can be used to deploy this App.

For further information see SMP 2.3 Documents

      Hi David,

I am able to create the SAPUI5 app using REST API and was able to wrap it using PhoneGap , I am using eclipse plugin of gateway to create the app.I am able to get the flight data also on my app, but now I want to use SUP as proxy. I am confused where SUP will come in picture in this whole scenario,

I donot want to use HWC at all , just want my app to use SUP as proxy and getting data from Gateway.

      Regards
