can't able to connect SMD Agent on Enterprise portal server to Solution manager

Hi,

When I am running manage system setup , I am receiving the error on Step# 3 "Assign diagnostic agent" , Status is RED, Agent Host and Agent Instance is empty. Looks like SMDAgent on my portal server, can't able to connect to my solution manager.

My portal instance is on Linux machine and running solution manager 7.1, can you guys please let me know what command to run to fix this issue?
