How to archive past documents in production

Hi.

Our client wants to archive  print outs , fax  triggered from outputs from PO, SO, delivery,Billing which have already been triggred in past 5 yrs in production and which were not archived in the past 5 yrs.

Pls note that the config of output types does not have storage mode =3 (print and archive) till date . if we change the config to 3, only the subsequent documents triggered after this config change will archive the documents in production.

1 ) But we need a solution to  archive the  outputs (print outs, fax) already created in past 5 yrs and which have not been archived ?

2) How to identify such output types which have not been archived in production in last five yrs ?

any suggestions pls

Hi,

Use Function Module CONVERT_OTF_2_PDF which will convert all your OTF files to PDF

provided if your program has OTF code already inserted

Please see note 1822569 - Not possible to display/print the output of archived billing document in VF07 (related with SD area).

If you want to archive and delete output, you have to delete entries in table NAST. Go to tcode DB15 and research the arch.objects for table NAST. After, go to notes for each object or go to tcode AOBJ, see the reports for archiving, run them in SE38 and read the documentation.
