Sort Profile Parameters in RZ10

how can Parameters in RZ10 and in the Profile files be sorted?

Perhaps a ~workaround can be to sort the parameters and change them in the profile on OS level. Once done, import the profile back into RZ10 ?

I know all these workarounds mentioned here. I use Notepad++ for sorting lines in profile files.

I hoped that there is a button, report or something else....

Hi Albert

There is a scenario in SAP Solution Manager which can compare the parameters of different SAP systems and report on the result(s) - the scenario is called Configuration Validation

For the rest, I agree, it would be nice to have more extensive features available to sort etc in RZ10.

Can you explain your question?  Do you mean which parameters should go into which profile?  Or how do the RZ10 profiles relate to those at the operating system?  Or something else?

I want to sort my profile parameters in an alphabetical order in RZ10 in the "Extented maintenance". But there is no option to sort them.

Best option for you

Copy paste all values in an excel and sort them in ordfer you want for your reference.

Hi Albert,

I've never seen that option, nor really the need for it as it's only we technical people who are looking at this transaction.  If you want to see the parameters sorted by group and alphabetically, trying running transaction sa38 - report RSPARAM which may help.

It is easier to compare the profile parameters of different systems when they are sorted. Also it is easier to find something when it is sorted.

This is only a nice to have function.

Of course you can copy-paste them to excel.
