Group 2 columns in one table

Hi experts,

If I have 2 internal tables within an abap program, each of them has only one column but not the same number of records collected on them. As following:

(I know, it seems silly to have a table with one column 😊 )

Table1:

Field1

A

B

C

Table2:

Field2

A

B

C

D

Is there any way to group them in one global table as following?

Field1

Field2

A

A

B

B

C

C

D

I think that instruction INSERT lines OF into table will be useful in my case, but I don’t know how to manage it especially on the data declaration part (Source and Target tables).

Thanks.
