VL01N - Only 0 LB of material xxxx available

Dear SAP Gurus,

I have below scenario in my system.

I am using Availability Check '02' in material master. In OVZ9 -> Availability Check '02' and Checking Rule 'A' for Sales Order and 'B' for Delivery, I filled 'X' in Incl. purchase orders so when users create Sales Order and Delivery, system will consider future Purchase Order + stock on hand to confirm quantity. So, even thought the material doesn't have any stock but have future PO, as long as they input future date (SO schedule line date), system will allow user to create a delivery. After a few month, the requirement changes to consider future PO + stock on hand for Sales Order and only consider stock on hand for Delivery. I changes the configuration in OVZ9 -> Checking Rule 'B', leave Incl. purchase orders empty. But, when I tried to create Delivery, I got an error messages : "Only 0 LB of material xxxx available" even thought I have enough stock in the system.

Did I do something wrong with my configuration?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Tania

Hi Tania,

  • Error message VL150 - 'Only & & of material & & available' appears due to many reasons:
The following are some of them.
  • Causes:
  1. There is not enough quantity available for the confirmation of the delivery although you can see enough available quantity in transaction MMBE or MD04.
  2. Different scope of checks (transaction OVZ9) for the preceding document (e.g. sales order) and follow-up document (delivery).
  3. Negative cumulated ATP quantity in transaction CO09.
  4. Sufficient available stock on storage location level but not on plant level.
  5. ATP quantities are checked against a storage location in spite of no storage location has been determined in the predecessor sales document so the system should check available quantities on plant level only.
  6. Inconsistencies.

The resolution is depended on the the cause of the issue.
The resolution for the above causes is explained in KBA 1513607. You can refer it for further explaination.
