Bank Infotype - Change in payroll past not possible

Hi,

We have semi-monthly payroll processing.

Payroll has been run for the period 05/01/2013 - 05/15/2013 and payroll has been exited on 05/13/2013.

An employee via ESS Bank information iView is attempting to make a Primary account changeon 05/15/2013, which is aslo the payment date. But he  receiving the message in the Edit step to update the bank routing and bank account number, “Changes in the Payroll

Past Not Possible” and cannot proceed further to save the update.

As per the Infotype 0003

Retro acct date is 01/01/2013

Account to: 05/15/2013

Earliest MD Change: 05/15/2013

Also the START date of the bank (primary) account is 06/30/2012.

Use case in table is B1.

Please advise on how to solve this issue. Your help would be really aopreciated.

Hi,

As the payroll period includes 05/15/2013 and the Account to is 05/15/2013, the start date of the change should be from 05/16/2013

Hi Minu,

As pointed by Sundar, please ask the employee to update bank information from 16/ 05 / 2013 since the payment has been accounted till 15/05/2013.

System is checking the payroll status in IT0003 and it is already accounted till 15th May. So, it is advisable to have the new record from 16/05./2013.

check IT0003 and make sure the retro acct date is before that your editing the record.(i hope, you have check this infotype already)

other one is, check thatparticular  employees payroll area and go to T-Code PA03-Payroll control record for that payroll area and check "earliest retro acct period date "

Hi Shan,

In infotype 0003, the earliest RA date is 01/01/2013 ( which earlier to sytem date which is current date i.e. 05/15/2013)

and in PA03 - for this payroll area - the retro acct date is 01.2008

Ok, in that case pls check table V_T569R and feature TIMMO.

Some time you might be puting the restriction via table V_T569R and this date might be activated via feature TIMMO.

check this pls.
