Enhancement PCSD0002 (BOMs: Customer fields in item) in BOM

We have implemented  Enhancement PCSD0002 (BOMs: Customer fields in item) in BOM.

During production order creation BOM will be copied to production order How to pull this enhancement(customer  fields) in production order.

Dear Prashant,

Once you implemented the user exit in BOM with  PCSD0002, you will be able to get one separate tab in BoM item level for customer field.

To carry the same Customer field tab in Production order, you have to apply one more User exit for Production. You can find the below exits which will be applied to satisfy your requirement.

As far as I know the customer fields in Header or Item of BOM are for reporting purpose only.

You can go to SMOD and check out documentation for PCSD0002.

The customer-specific fields for the BOM item are not evaluated in the
adjoining areas (for example, requirements planning, manufacturing).

You can enhance the report COOIS component list using note Note 434123 to display your customer field for item though. Add the custom field and populate them in the structure IOOPCOMP.
