Dear All,

My And process type after loading master data is not triggered . It turned red and the next events are not triggered.

Error in SM37 -

16.05.2013 08:26:03 Job started

16.05.2013 08:26:03 Step 001 started (program RSPROCESS, variant &0000000314824, user ID SITBIRFC)

16.05.2013 08:26:03 This AND process is not waiting for event RSPROCESS, parameter 4OP4VJAZP66G7YYWZOEKQ8DN9

16.05.2013 08:26:03 Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

I repeated the process chain again and again it struck at this same place.

please help.

Dear All,

Below notes have to be implemented for the error. These errors are caused by program error.

1) NOTE - 1391870 - When you use synchronous execution, processes are set to the status J (follow-on job is missing). This does not make any sense in the case of synchronous execution.

2) NOTE - 1378949 Process Chain fails at AND step with error message R.

According to the note --

On choosing context menu option 'Display Variant' for an AND step in a chain, the corresponding entries in table RSEVENTCHAIN were deleted. This was caused due to a program error.

I have checked but there is no dump in  ST22.SM37 has status Job cancelled.

Actually if that is the case when i repeat whole process, it ran successfully and again failed at process type AND.

So i suspect its something worng with AND. As Gayathri mentioned, i will remove it and Add again . Also suman suggested to check the process chain in planning mode.

I will try the options advised and update the status.

Please check the server in which job is trigerred. Also you can try resheduling your process cahin in another server and background user.If needed, recreate the ANDprocess type in process cahin and reschedule the chain.

Let me know if issue persists.

It seems lack of resources. Check with BASIS to enhance and assign  Application servers.

if a system exception is thrown then might be a abap dump would be generated in ST22
you can have a look in that... it can tell you what actually is happening in the system,  why this deadlock...
you can have an abaper analyze it for you...

Check the system log (SM21) and the abap dumps (ST22) to get more details on the error

Hi,

Ensure sufficient BGDs available in SM50. If you just want t continue your chain, just take the parameters of failed step in RSPCPROCESSLOG table and pass them into RSPC_PROCESS_FINISH program amd mark Status as G. This process will turn your failed step to Green and the rest of the chain continues..

1) Yesterrday my problem started with a completion of attribute change run , but it was still yellow, did not turn to gree.

I checked the process log table and found that the STATUS = G , but the ACTUAL STATUS = J ( frame work error .

From here next processes did not continue, so i had to manually load the remaining infopackages in this sub process chain.

After which i tried to manually change the status to G using the RSPC_PROCES_FINISH program and status changed sucessfully , but the next process type which is AND-- turned red with the error mentioned above.

I do not know how to proceed once the Actual state change to J . the next event does not trigger at all.

please advise.

HI,

After ACR, then the next step is AND process type right? ACR step was not able to identify the follow-on job/next process step which is AND.

I suggest you to go the Planning mode of whole chain and click on "Check" button to ensure the whole chain is OK.

sorry After attribute change run, I have few other master data Loads ( thats how its designed ) .

         AND

Sales process chain      Inventory process chain

Above is the sequence of processes. My problem was with ACR --> Actual Status  struck with J ( Framework error ) .

I manually completed Load 3 and Load 4.

Then i use the program to set the staus of Masterdata 1 to successfully completed.

Status is updated correctly , but failed at process type AND.

Hope planning mode is Change mode. I will try

By seeing message we may can't judge related which kind of issue.if possible check while loading your process chain is have enough free application servers to run.

HI Raman,

Firstly thanks for the repsonse.

Since the error message is too generic, i am unable to decide,But it is failing to trigger the next process type ( AND) . This process type turned red and the error message is as mentioned above.

Since the loading till here, is successful, i copied another process chain &  took out all those successful sub process chains and it is still running .

But tomorrow i have to run again, I don know should i remove the AND process type and active and put back.
