MasterData issue

Hello, I have a question about masterdata. i have an infoobject 0Customer which has 2 attributes like ZQUAL and ZFLG.

Assumption: New System which has never been loaded

Let's say that I load masterdata in to ZQUAL info object

It is my first time loading in the system.  I load ZQUAL first ok, whatever entries that I put in ZQUAL, would they also get inserted into 0Customer - ZQUAL field when I go into maintain masterdata option of 0CUSTOMER or not?  so once ZQUAL load is done, would I also see some data in 0Customer table in the ZQUAL field? Thanks.

Hi venkat,

What ever you load your attributes data i.e ZQUAL, it gets updated into 0customer.so you can see the data in 0customer for field ZQUAL. You must activate the master data then only it is available for reporting(ACR).

Padmaja, thanks but how can I stop that?   because if i load 0CUSTOMER now, i will have one blank row with only ZQUAL entry and one with filled through 0CUSTOMER extractor because in our case ZCUSTOMER has a compounding object.  Please tell me.

Hi Venkat,

I did not understand your issue.How you loaded the master data?

First load the attributes data and activate it then ZQUAL contains the data.at that time if see your 0customer it doesn't holds that attributes data until you perform a load.If you load master data to 0customer and activate then you can get ZQUAL data in 0customer.otherwise you can not see the data.

if  we are loading data for ZQUAL u can see it in 0customer.what ever the data we are loading for ZQUAL we have to activate it and run ACR

Hi,

No - Untill you dont get data for attribute(ZQUAL)  of 0CUSTOMER from source , you dont  get data for those attributes.

Even you load master data saparately for ZQUAL, it wont appear for Attribute of 0CUSTOMER.

Hi Venkat,

If you load (ZQUAL) data i dont think you can able to see in OCustomer.

If you want to populate value of ZQUAL in 0Customer then you need to load data to 0Customer.

Hi Venkat,

Your 0customer object have two attributes, ZQUAL and ZFLG. as you said new system, no loads till now. first you loaded master data into ZQUAL and ran ACR, if you check right click of zqual, display master data you can see data in zqual. but if you check at 0CUSTOMER  you won't see any data, because no loads happens to 0customer.

Once you load master data to 0customer and ran ACR then only you can see data, other wise you can't see data.Hope you got it.
