Hi we're getting an error for some users of UDT saying the FRS Input Server is down.
If someone logs on to UDT using SSO or using AD or using an Enterprise user and the cluster name or the explicit name of one of the application servers they can import and use a universe without any issues.
On another machine, on the same domain, but using another domain controller the following:
SSO AD passthrough Authentication using the cluster name fails: [repo_proxy 13] SessionFacade::openSessionLogon with user info has failed(Unable to connect to cluster @BO4_DEV_DUB_CLS to retrieve CMS member list. Locally cached member list not present. Logon cannot continue.(hr=#0x80042a01) but AD Authentication providing the user id and password using the cluster name works and the user cannot import a universe (FRS Input Server is down)
SSO AD passthrough Authentication using the explicit server name succeeds and the user cannot import a universe (FRS Input Server is down).
This seems to be machine related, we have a third user who is experiencing similar issues on one of his PCs and not on his other PC, both of which are on the same domain controller.
Any ideas as to what to look at?
