While SL Encashment Quota Not Deducting

Hi..Dear Experts,

I have newly created quota type for leave encashment of Sick Leave but all my scenario working correct amount will also tallied. But quota will only not deducting so please suggest me how can i solve this problem.

Hi,

Please check Table V_T556U have u assigned the Deduction rule or Quota type to the Quota compensation method.

Hi,

First step as suggested by Lakshmi in table V_554S_Q Quota Deduction check box should be checked and assign the proper counting rule.

Step 2 :- In table  V_T556U create the Quota compensation method and assign the proper quota to it as per below screen shot.

Step 3:- In table V_T556W Assign the wage types to the Quota Compensation method u have created in V_T556U

Hi..Dear Experts,

I had checked in the future  "QUOMO" is activated so all is working correct & one more problem i have facing i.e When i will compensate the quota (SL) through IT0416 but deducting in the previous year unused balance SL quota. It is not reached the my client requirement, actually required is deduct in the IT2006 from 01.01.2013. So as off in my system deducting in the year 2010,11 &12 for unused balance. If there is no balance available in the previous period in that cases considering the current year leave deduction. So please advice me how to change in the configuration for only deduct from .01.01.2013 on words.

Hi Satish,

Regarding the quota deduction from unused quota of previous year please check the table V_T559D and T559V.

In those tables the valid to and deduction to should be checked as END using the radio button.

There should not be any data in the "Relative Position".

It might help you to get rid of the problem.

Thanks for your well feedback, so i have maintained in the table V_T559D "Relative Position" as 999 & Month anther one table T559V maintained somewhere depending upon employee grade month & days & some boxes are blanks. So please advise me the where can i change or maintain the configure.

I am not sure if I have got your query correctly - As per your last update , you mean to say that quota is getting deducted but not from current year Balance but from previous year balance , is that correct ???

If this is the situation , I believe you need to create one carry forward quota , where all your unused quota could be maintained for the current year , other wise system will keep on deduction quota from previous year only as there is no automatic carry forward of quota in your system.

Also - Second method to enable carry forward of quota , PCR needs to be written , there are many relevant thread on SCN for the same.

Thanks for your response as per earlier issue is quota carry forward but that matter is solved so left about that. And next presently my issue is not deducting in the IT2006  old balance like that 2010,11,12 but my requirement is it should be deduct SL only from 01.01.0213 on words.

So please send me if this concerned PCR for solve this solution..

Thanks for your prompt reply & i had learned about this issue some importance matters. Finally got solution for deduction of previous year quota balance.There was delimited all above customized tables from 01.01.2013 matter was solved.

Hi Satish,

Please check the below config. settings.

Quota Deduction Using Attendances/Absences-->  Define Deduction Rules for Absence and Attendance Quotas.

In this step, you define the rules according to which attendances and absences are to be deducted from the attendance/absence quotas.

Quota deduction does not depend on individual attendance/absence types, but is determined by the Counting rule for attendance/absences that is assigned to an attendance/absence type .

Hi,

1) check your table V_556A_B table., if the radio button set to NO GENERATE, and try re running.

Permit Generation of Quotas in Time Evaluation -> Select No Generate. (if it does not work) then try below.

Permit Quota Generation Without Time Evaluation -> Select Generate here.

and try the combination of both.

Thanks for your reply It's correct after the selected "No Genrt" quota (SL) deducting but, when i will go to the TPTQTA00 there is not generating SL quota only displaying EL. So how can i correct it please suggest...

Hi Satish, i think, as we see how the discussion started, you have two problems

1) you have quota creation problem for Sick leave -> since you are saying, its wokring fine for EL, you may please check all the relevant tables, and you would be able to crack, as where you are going wrong with SL, one thing you need to check is the base entitlement, what is for EL and what is for SL.

One other thing needs to remember is Quota generation happens either through time evaluation or through RPTQTA00. Where as, deduction happens only at infotype level.

above your reply says, you are able to cross the quota generation step.

2) You have quota deduction problem for sick leave: Quota deduction, other mates clearly explained all the tables where to check, if you still have this problem, i could suggest you to check one additional table.

Determine Entry Screens and Time Constraint Classes -> V_554S_O, screen number should be set to 2001 for your absence type in order to have the quota deduction.
