SAP DB2 Purescale on Virtualization

Dear All,

Our Customer is inisiting on implementing Db2 with Purescale, but with landscape size phsyical servers will be huge.

Any Idea can we use Virtaulization on Db2

Hi Mazhi,

Technically it is possible to install DB2 Purescale on virtual hosts and IPs. Also I feel it can work on Virtualized environment but there could be some restrictions on HA setup.

You may run a PoC to evaluate the impacts during runtime.
