We are on ECC6.0, EhP6, HR Renewal 1.0 SP07 and using NWBC 4.0 Desktop Client for ESS.
For Japan, the address screen comes standard delieverd with "County Code" field as mandatory. However, we do not maintain this information, so would like to hide it.
I started with V_T588MFPROPC and added this entry:
Version: 22 (Japan)
Field Name: COUNC (County Code)
Not Used: Check
Now, when I logon to ESS, I do not see the field anymore, however when trying to save the address, it still throws the error:
"Municipal City Code is not found; contact your administrator"
"Enter County Code"
Looks like even though the field is no more on the screen, the mandatory check on this field still exists.
Any ideas how I can get rid of this field and all logic behind it completely?
