Hello Team,

I have few queries regarding Header Conditions and I know about what it does, I want to know why the header condition should always split on Item level (based on Qty, value, etc.) also if we uncheck the group condition in V/06 why it should be copied to all items? I couldn't find any such config in which the header condition would not split or distribute.
And if we plan to implement it with the help of ABAP, what could be the possible effects in the system of doing this?

Ex: I have an invoice with 5 materials and I enter YDE3(Freight) in header, so it should not distribute on line items for each material (according to the ratio or qty.). It should not be isplayed at all

Could you please help gather this info.

so it should not distribute on line items for each material (according to the ratio or qty

Search Google for condition type for HB00 & RB00 which will answer your query.

Thanks for replying, but I have already checked for HB00 and RB00 and it is either copied to all items or spread over the line items.

I just want to know if we can restrict this and do not let the header condition to be copied or ditributed to line items.

What is the Business requirement and why you want to have like that?

The nature of a header condition is that it is distributed among the items, see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/EN/dd/56177a545a11d1a7020000e829fd11/content.htm?frameset=/EN/dd/56171f545a11d1a7020000e829fd11/frameset.htm

If you want an amount that is not distributed then create an additional item

Just use a pricing requirement.

I don't know what is the exact criteria in your business case, but it is possible that you can reuse some of the existing routines. Even if you need to create a new routine, it will be probably a very simple one, that a junior developer can handle with ease.

@jurgen: what is additional item? would it stop the spreading of header condition?

@veselina: if i mainatain the routines in requirement, would it solve the case?

@G Lakshmipathi: The proforma Inv is issued without surcharge to the customer and invoice is created with surchage, it creates issue to the customer.

Have you tried to use a suitable pricing requirement with your header condition in a sandbox?

Test it and you will know for sure...

Helo Shay,

I believe that what @jurgen means is that instead of adding a header condition you should add a dummy item (with a service material maybe). The price of this dummy item should be equal to the header condtion you wanted to add in first place. It looks like a valid workaround.

Best regards,

Fortian
