SSM 7.5 integration with Xcelsius

Hi All,

     According to the Book, I tried going to http://servername:port/wsnavigator link. I was not able to find the CubeService and SMdataservice web services.

Do i need to enable anything in Net Weaver first.?

Hello Max,

I also couldn't see the service defintion names listed in WSADMIN at first but after calling http://<nwce_server>:<port>/strategy/SMDataServiceService?wsdl&mode=sap_wsdl

and going back into WSADMIN they appeared.

A colleague also mentioned that just access Strtategy Management allowed them to appear as well.

Thanks for the Answer.

We have integrated both the system.

Now, we are able to get the data from SSM but along with KPI name it is not getting the values. Any setting required for that.?

Please suggest...

Hello Max,

If you have followed all the steps in section 9.6 of the Configuration help for SSM guide then it should be working.

If it is not then I would recommend using a 3rd party tool such as SoapUI to determine if the data is coming out of SSM.

I can testify that I have followed the steps in the config guide for 7.5 and it worked for me. From memory one trap was I initially used the PAS cube name when I was meant to use the connection name.
