Web Intelligence XI 3.1 Connection to BEx Query

Hi,

I have created a BEx variable in Query Designer against a hierarchy. This is being accessed via Web Intelligence and if we select the the top
node it brings back no data.

For some reason there is nothing under the top node if I expand it. If I locate the second level node it does have something under it and returns data.

Anyone have any ideas why this does not work?

The hierarchy looks fine in SAP BW.
