Dear all,
Good day.
I am a newly beginner in the SAP Strategy Management and I would like to ask from where shall I start as to be consultant in the field by either Pilot Application Server (Strategy Management Application Server) Or the Strategy Management User Interface by the URL?
Also kindly need to know if there is a link between those two interfaces to link and what is the difference and usage of each?
Thanks,
Ashraf El-Tayeby
Hi,
I think is best to start with Strategy Management User Interface.

Ashraf,
As Miguel says - start with the user interface as it is important to understand how the data will end up being presented and the decisions you make in PAS will be strongly influenced by how the data is going to be used.
At its simplest PAS holds the numbers that will populate the metrics and the resulting KPIs that are shown in the scorecards together with the data structures/hierarchies (dimensions) for those numbers. The front end interface places the wrapper around those numbers so they make sense and enable you to make decisions about where persormance need to improve and how to improve your performance.
