Crystal10 communication error



When I login to eportfolio or cmc in Crystal10 (ce10) I get this error immdtly, it doesnt even ask for user ID/password

Communication Error

Communication failed with all configured Web Component Servers because they are disabled or not currently running. If this problem continues, please contact the system administrator.

I recreated the WCS, ensure ports are listening, Checked in CCM -- all services are up and running, tried restarting these services one by one, restarted the server also. Right now it is a standalone server, I have removed the cluster for testing purposes so only this one server is up and running

followed everything mentioned in this SAP doc, still its not working

I dont know much about configuring tomcat server, maybe thts where I should look, would appreciate any kind of help in this regards,
