Getting problem regarding ' block/unblock storage bins' ..........

. Actually facing a problem WM configuration ,,,,,

when I use the tcode LS06  to block / unblock storage bins , that time the problem has bn raised - after putting all the value in LS06  screen's tabs , it doesn't show the whole bin structure ... how could i solve it ? ....

Hi,

Check whether the bins created for your warehouse has the required storage type, section, bin type and fire contamination defined in LAGP table. If records exists, then you should get the list in LS06 output.

        a lot of thanks to Vijaya sir , Jugren sir and Zubair sir for the replies ....

but the problem didn't solve yet ... when I open with LS10 - i found that lots of bins has already been created different storage type - 001 , 002 , 020 , 005 , 007 ...i've attached that screen-shot ...

bt , when I tried with SE11 to show the table LAGP n searching for its entries for P99 warehouse - come across only 1 entry -that was created with 001 storage type ...

why it's behaving like this ?? ... plz help sir- stucked into this problem .....

if you do not have any other storage bins than just this 03-01-01 then create them using LS10 (or LS05 in a production system).

SAP will show you a list of storage locations that can be created, (nothing will happen until you click the button for create).

But if you get the expected list, then you can be sure that the customizing is correct.

then the creation was never executed before or the storage bins got deleted again with LS11 transaction

You cannot delete bins that have quants, but empty bins can be deleted at any time.

Hi,

In LS10 you can see the start and end values of the storage bins to be created for the required warehouse and storage type combination and not the bin list. It could be the case where u have executed the transaction LS10, clicked create bins in the environment and then you will see the proposed bins to be created in the system. In this case, the bins are not updated in LAGP table, you should then go to storage bins-> select create online, you will see a popup to confirm. Once you click the yes option in the pop up the system will create the bins and is updated in LAGP table.

As of your advice , used that create online option and the bins has been created & updated in LAGP table also . actually , that time overlooked that option - unforgiving mistake .. ....

Remove the program paramters such as bin type ext , which you have gievn.

• Give only warehouse & storage type and try to see whether the requuired bins shown.

• also try with tcode ls11 and see whether the bins are listed there ?

Hi,

You may created the bin structure, but not generated the bins. Please check whether the Batch input session log, as well the availability of bins for the respective storage type in table LAGP.

Post a screen shot from LS03N of one of your bins that should show up, I think then we are able to tell you why nothing came up
