Unable to Edit a service PO when copied/Adopted

Hi Gurus,

We are unable to change/edit the Service PO fields(Vendor,Plant and etc...because the fields are greyed out) when we are adopting /Copying existing Service PO to the new Service PO line item. Could you please suggest me is it possible to edit.

Hi Sadsivam,

It should allow you to change most of the information like plant, material, vendor etc.

Please check with your ABAPr as why these fields are greyed out. Ask him to check the copy controls.

Hi Biju,

I am aware we are unable to edit the details. but my client wants this needs to be edited as similar to normal PO. Please suggest me is it possible.

Hi,

The Vital Data should be identical for New Service Order - so you decided for adopting /copying existing/old Service Order and now why you want to changes  ie......Vendor & Plant.....

If your  Vital Data in  New Service Order  are different from existing/old Service Order,then create a  New Service Order  directly in t.code:ME21N without refering old Service Order .
