CJ88 Settlement to an AUC with Capitalization Key

Hi All,

     We have an issue when trying to settle values from a MIGO-GI to an AUC Investment Measure with a Capitalization Key.

     The GI has 4 lines containing a mix of semi-finished, packaging and Finished Goods, and the Cap Key is set up to post to Area 01 only.

     When the periodic settlement is performed, the full value of the GI correctly populates Area 01 in the AUC. However, selected lines (in this case the first and last lines)  from the GI also populate areas which are not specified in the Cap Key definition.

     I have checked the Cap Key definition which is correct and the MM master data and found nothing obvious.

     Has anyone had this problem before, or can anyone suggest areas for further investigation?.

Are they identical depreciation areas or real areas? If they are identical and copying the values from 01, then that is correct. You need not to worry about it. If those areas are real and posting in real time, check the capitalization key and settings once again.

Also, is this the first time you see this error?
