Hi,

Due to lack of management control on user ID and the audit authority need a statement to prove that the below condition is not SAP B1 flaw or bug, but consider as SAP B1 logic.

Condition:

The change log of the document in SAP B1 showed only the last change user name of the user ID who create/update the document.

Or in others word, the changing of user name of user ID will influence the change log showed in the transaction document.

Example:

  • 1)2017-01-01 : Created a new user ID – A001, user name as “Peter”
  • 2)2017-01-02: Login as A001 to create A/R invoice # IV001, currently the IV001 changed log showed “Peter”
  • 3)2017-01-03: Edit the user name of A001 to “John”, check the IV001, the log showed as “John”
  • 4)2017-01-04: Revert back the user name of A001 to “Peter”, check the IV001, it showed as “Peter”

According to the above condition, is there a document/statement can prove that it is the SAP B1 logic, which the change of user name of the user ID will affecting the change log of the document as well, and the transaction document change log will only showed the last change user name, but not the history.
