Hello,

You might have already discovered that the toolbar on the right of SAP UX Explorer (http://uxexplorer.hana.ondemand.com) provides a re-routing to discussions groups that relate to the current item you are viewing. In many cases, you will be re-routed to an existing discussion area here in SCN. However, SAP UX Explorer also includes items that have no place for discussion, yet. For the time being, we will take this discussion thread, to discuss about all these items. SAP UX Explorer will guide you to this place whenever no other – more suitable – place is available.

So, feel free to talk about these items here.

Small error found on website "Shell & Canvas Concept" (wrong translation?):

The example before describes a trend that the shell area can but must not have a visible part.

Should this be corrected to:

The example before describes a trend that the shell area can but does not have to have a visible part.

"Must not" has a different meaning that would contradict itself with "can".

Hi Maximilian,

Thanks a lot for your feedback. You were fully correct, this sentence was translated wrong way. I will fix it. Change will appear in the cloud in the next 2 days, together with some other changes.

Again, thank you for your help.

Kind regards,

JJ

Dear Juergen,

you do not mention Design Studio regarding CVOM.

Any reason?

Hello Clemens,

Thank you for your note.

Actually, we do mention it in the "Explore Relations" section as a topic that uses CVOM. In other words, SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio is using CVOM as visualization solution.

Did you miss this section? Or did you expect this information in the summary information as well?

There is no specific reason why we don't mention it in the summary. The idea of the summary is to provide some, let's say most interesting facts, while the complete view is automatically generated through the relations between topics in the "Explore Relations" section. However, I would be interested to understand you concern here, as I'm always looking for input to improve our content.

All the best,

JJ

Hi Jürgen,

maybe I look on the wrong place - but under "Explore Relations" I cannot find Design Studio - I do see those BI-Tools mentioned there:
