Testing of FTP seeburger adapter

Hi Team,

Could you please let me know how we can test FTP serburger adapter with new server details. And please tell where we have to put file for new Ip address either desktop or where because we do not have directory option in FTP adapter.

You need to contact with your VAN provider for this. They should be able to provide those test FTP details with which you can try polling a file using the FTP Seeburger adapter. If you want to test it within your server, then you may have to use a normal FTP for testing/posting the EDI files as suggested by Stefan.

Well, to do a quick test, I would just setup a File-Adapter to pick up some file from a directory and then process it through PI to a Receiver-Channel that uses the Seeburger FTP-Adapter...

And in the Receiver-Adapter (FTP) you just have to specify the details of your new server...

(the screenhot is taken from the Adapter-Manual, which also includes 2 example scenarions how to pick up files from an FTP-Server and drop them to a FilePort...as well as picking up a File from a FIleport and then sending it to an FTP-Server)
