[STATUS UPDATE] On a positive note about the new SAP Community....

What used to me my morning ritual of coffee and SCN that sometimes became a time sink of answering questions, reading new blogs, laughing/responding/posting at status updates, and generally reconnecting each day to virtual "friends" in SAP has now been cut down tremendously with the new SAP Community. I find myself checking nonexistent notifications, trying to filter what new questions exist in topics I am interested in out of the 3-4 repeated entries for each (this person posted the question, the same person updated it, oh look!someone liked it, and then someone commented), try to find new blogs, read the same 2-3 posts in Coffee Corner at the top of the list....and generally grow frustrated until I just jump over to some tech news site or equally easier to "consume" material for a few minutes and just "get to work" on my current project(s). What could be up to 2 hours before is now just 10-15 minutes!!!! Soooooo on a positive note, the new SAP Community has been a great time saver in my morning routine! =)

Well, this is the Coffee Corner. If they added a 'Tea Corner', you could double your efforts and increase your morning ritual to 20-30 minutes ;)

I think you meant to say 'Cookie Corner'.

Cookies would be very seasonal and appropriate for Christmas - yum! I am not a tea drinker, but I think these images reflect traditional pairings of beverage and snack, and the 1/2 cup of tea image was inspired by Chris's comments above about reducing the time spent in his morning routine.

Sorry to hijack your [status update] Chris, but trying to give you a few yellow circle notifications to lure you back into the community.

Mmmm. Boston Creme.

Coffee/Tea/Cookie Corner... How about The Breakfast Club? :)

LOL, Chris, I was very curious when I saw the post ("whaaat, there is something positive???!!!"). Was afraid it might be some "inspirational" eye-roll-inducing cr... stuff (cannot see the post author anymore, only the last commented, so yeah). Anyway - same here, new SCN freed up tons of extra time for me. No more pesky emails or busy activity stream. Quickly check top of the list and you're done in 10 min. Yay. :)

Indeed that's so sad, sharing time is over... back to the old time when you did only search on your own and for yourself!

I would be happy to lose my time again learning with SCN, browsing / answering questions. It's upsetting, but I'm getting used to it. It's even pushing me to consider changing of job. Killing the community might not be the only wrong choice from SAP.

The cloud wave is rising hard, and I feel like SAP is a bit staying on the shore...

One thing I wonder, why does it takes so long for a post (blog) to be moderated?
I did submit a little blog in the coffee corner 11 days ago and it's still not published.

Funny, got my answer just after posting my comment, it took 10 days to have my blog moderated.

I hope it's the sign that so many people are posting new blogs !

Let's dream, maybe SCN could rise again !

your blog is still current - so no problem, but what shall we do with a Business Trend blog about Black Friday now, I guess we have to wait another year to release it.
