My SAP career path

I start my SAP career in private company as internal support staff for SAP PP & PS .

Then I move to consulting company as external delivery consultant for SAP PP,PS and QM..

Finally now I work in another consulting company as support consultant for logistic modules.

Which one is better?

I think that every position have strength and weakness value.

How about you?

I'm really, really going to date myself here, but I started working for SAP (the first time, that is) before Y2K. Several years before then, actually. And what was my first SAP-related role? I wrote documentation. I was an SAP Info Developer, as they called us back then. I wrote user documentation about SAP's MM and warehouse software.

I've had several job incarnations since then, most of them still related to SAP. For example, I did freelance translation of SAP books like ABAP/4: Programming the SAP R/3 System, by Bernd Matzke, from German into English.

And now I get to work on helping SAP people (I use that in the broadest sense, meaning anyone in the SAP ecosystem) help SAP people here in the SAP Community, and I love it.

      Hi Audrey,

      Nice to know you.

After I read your story, I think that your career is amazing.

Not everyone can work in SAP and translate SAP book :)
