It's been discussed before, but why do people ask this kind of thing here:
SNAP_NO_NEW_ENTRY - Short Dump
What is the logic / thought process behind this?
Oh no, I can't login! Looks like a mega fail.
Shall I contact IT support? Or maybe Basis?
Nah, I recon some randoms out on the internet are surely the best people to help with this one. Let me post this on SCN.
I'm trying very very hard to find an explanation to this behaviour but it just doesn't make sense.
Maybe their Basis team is hellish, or they don't like to bother their colleagues. Anyways it is not a smart move, plus what would the person do if it took hours for someone on this site to answer their question.. Nothing?
Lot of reasons could be.
Provided the same issue to BASIS guy and at the same time posted the same to SCN and wait who provides the solution first.
Never read "Rules of engagement".
Unknown as to who will be responsible for correcting this error.
Above all, don't even bother to go to ST22 and read the analysis.
based on the user ID in the screen shot and OP's name, I wondering if it's a generic training account for development. The user is new and may not have any Basis contact to ask for assistance
... still doesn't explain failure to search and realisation that you will need to contact a System Admin.
Impressive spot :-)
Still, this is but one of many examples where people ask things that are just far more difficult if not impossible for some random person on the internet to answer.
Well the answer is in his screenshot. But I get tickets like this all the time (with the answer clearly in the screenshot).
And even if he is new is his company, surely there should be some colleague around to ask what he could do with this, when he does not know yet, who the system admin is? Can't image he's the first developer there. ;)

Steffi.
