Uh, seems we got a new community-layout:
This is, what just not the front page suddenly looks to me:
...and I had to look twice to find the "CoffeeCorner"-Link.
What I also notived: the "read more" link in the lower right corner (screenshot) goes to:
....and then there's a "Sorry, this page can’t be found" ;

and new Q&A site design is live too!
Sorry, but what's new we have in Q&A? Same list for single tag only... No new features!
P.S. New black header?
Yes, we have a new "feature" - now it's not possible to reply to comment! As a result - not possible to have hierarchical thread. As a result - not possible to answer questions!
And the links I have that take me to the specific communities that I work with now take me to a "Browse Community Topics" page. GRRRRRR! I use these links to find unanswered questions. Looks like I won't be doing much around here if this keeps up.
So this is a step in the right direction and that there might be some to fix is part of the job. Let's wait a couple days and browse your new profile page. Which I really like now.. again:-)
Actually, i am so confused with the new layout... how do i go to ABAP community??? I'm so lost...
Oops... okay, I've figure out where every comes and go... :D
Those links that I used to visit is now group at Community Resources/Wiki
:D

I wonder what the logic of the community options is:
Hardly the majority tags, are they?
Marketing decision, to my mind!
The Topic pages are a big item on the list and we are still migrating pages, the first 36 are done and the others are coming. The ones in the menu were based honestly on just the first ones completed but that section will be changing over time. No fancy logic in the menu for what was in the list.
Craig Cmehil: To your statement on topic pages: "the first 36 are done and the others are coming". Currently there are 41 pages, as far as I can tell. What is the goal here, is there a list of more upcoming topic pages, or are these additional 5 pages the ones that were missing?
I'm simply asking because currently we just know several former community pages are gone, and do not know whether they will be migrated or not...
The actully list is quite long with over 70 having dedicated people behind them to update the content, we are in talks with several others to get them ramped up as well. Meanwhile we are working on an alternative to bring others that are in demand back online with some automated content intstead of currated.
I think I liked the old front page better (but maybe that's just "change" / "new things" - I'll give it some time, same as I did with “new SAP Community")
What is nice:
The stats ([so many] Members, [so many] Blog posts
...).
What I miss:
The 3-columned
"latest Blog" Section (Mentor/Most liked / Most recent)
-> can we have that
back?
Really nice: RSS (still there, like it should be)!

We actually did not* see a lot of clicks from the homepage in those 3 columns, interesting to hear the feedback - I'll take that into the next rounds of discussions. Thank you.
Funnily enough, in the past month I started using them as my launchpad.
Clicks are not the only evidence of the usefulness.
The Mentor blogs has not been very helpful lately because the Mentors don't seem to blog much anymore. And we can use RSS feed for Mentors tag, which is what I've been using instead and never opened the blogs through the home page links. Still, home page was a "signal" for me that I need to check RSS feed.
The plain top 3 recent blog part did not add much value IMHO as a probability of catching something of interest there was very low. Also sometimes one person would dump 5 blogs at once and then just dominate that list.
The top liked was very much helpful (again, IMHO) and we had to ask many times and wait for it to be restored after 2016. It was also kind of an unofficial badge of honor for a blogger to appear there and this fact has been frequently promoted on Twitter.
Another factor to consider: the home page hasn't been very popular since 2016 in general. I opened it more out of habit than anything else as I had Q&A bookmarked in browser. It was boring and borderline depressing. Right now I don't see much value in the redesigned home page either, to be honest, but I'll postpone judgement until it has a chance to get filled up with more content.
Jelena Perfiljeva this has gone from bad to worst. It took me quite a lot of effort to find out that the url to track all things s4hana is now
https://www.sap.com/community/tag.html?id=73554900100800000266&tag=type:blog
It took me several minutes to get to this link and I have now bookmarked it.
Earlier it was a simple

Time to write the obituary I guess
PS: Lets catchup at TechED next week. I should be around the IBM Booth.
Reached out to you on LI, thanks!
Hey Devraj,
may I suggest the respective pages on Blogs and Q&A?

Yes, two pages to visit but much better information density. We'll make Blogs look closer to Q&A from a design perspective in the near future.
Ok i get it but why not have a user friendly tag that we can remember like
Hi Craig Cmehil
I agree, I didn't click on it often, but I looked at it a lot - it was 2ndary source for of content-discovery (for blogs; RSS was the primary one, as I mentioned).
Jelena Perfiljeva already made most of my points.
Also, in the past I suggested a "Feature only once" per Blog (or maybe even user), to prevent a single blog appearing in 2 or even all three of the columns ("recently, a Mentor posted a blog and it made it to top likes immediately").
Would be nice if you could bring it back, maybe even with those improvements.

I just noticed it today. So far it looks like a step forward from a UX perspective.
I'm sure the new interface is better. But if there isn't any content behind it.........
Transforming the comments into a flat stream in Q&A is the worst choice possible: it's totally impossible to build a meaningful and useful discussion to help people or to get any help.
Congrats for the new tombstone on the community.
It's a disaster! Please read also here: https://answers.sap.com/questions/647972/bug-urgent-no-reply-button-on-comments-with-the-ne.html
From time to time I try to reconsidered my position on the current frontpage, but: no; Still don't like it!
If given the two options ( the current one, or the one before ), I'd really like to have the old one back! ...and it's soooo static:
-> Featuring content from October 10th, 11th, 12th and even from September!
While it’s perfectly ok to have good contend featured for a while, please also show me something new! In the past we had that "fetured content" complimented with the 3 “cecent”-columns! Can we please get those back?

EDIT: PS: positiv: so nice to have a working edit-function!
We are working through our processes for updates and pushing to ensure we do weekly changes moving forward. We are also looking at the most liked blogs for example coming back.
